The Blanton Museum at UT has a new curator of Latin American art: Dr. Gabriel Pérez-Barreiro comes from the Americas Society in New York, and will start work in Austin this October. The Blanton has over 1,600 works of modern and contemporary Latin American art, all made in the last 60 years. We hope to see great things from Barreiro and his 8,000 square feet of space in the new Blanton building!
