This sounds fun: the Make A Film in A Weekend (MAFIA) Film Festival in Austin, in which participants make a one-reel, in-camera edited, Super 8 masterpiece, which must feature a mystery prop (supplied by Cinemaker when shooting begins). Filmmakers submit the soundtracks for their films without seeing the finished product, and the results are then screened.
