Two of the state’s edgier spaces are currently showing artist-designed/made furniture. Galeria Ortiz in San Antonio’s Market Square has Super House, featuring furniture by Chris Ake, Peter Glassford, Kerry Seiffert & Peter Zubiate. Opening February 6 at Austin’s Gallery Lombardi is Secret Furniture, with a fistful of artists showing furniture-inspired work.
