The Menil Collection will host the first presentation of The Walter Hopps Award for Curatorial Achievement to Roger M. Buergel on Tuesday, February 18, at 7 pm (with a slide lecture to follow). The award is a biannual prize given by the Menil to recognize early and mid-career curatorial accomplishment. Buergel is “an independent curator and noted lecturer in visual theory at Luneburg University in Germany.”
