The International Association of Art Critics USA just announced their awards for 2003, and, like, half of them are for shows organized in some part by Texas organizations. To wit: Kazimir Malevich: Suprematism at the Menil Collection, Thomas Struth at the Dallas Museum of Art, Quilts of Gee’s Bend at MFAH, Dario Robleto: Roses in the Hospital/Men are the New Women at Inman Gallery, William Pope.L: eRacism at DiverseWorks, and Bob Knox: Non-Fiction Paintings at Blaffer Gallery all won awards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
