Arthouse‘s New American Talent show is Austin’s Whitney Biennial: you hope to see a few good things but expect to be annoyed at best (or bored at worst) by the entirety of this slide-juried mishmash. This year is an exception: curator Aimee Chang, who just left LA’s Hammer to run the well-respected Orange County Museum, has pulled together a strong show.
