The Menil Collection has named Franklin Sirmans as Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art. Sirmans is an independent curator with strong ties to Dia (natch) and who co-curated the Basquiat show (recently at MFAH). He’s got strong writing credentials–hope he can bring some good fresh energy!! Welcome, Franklin!
