Congrats to the winners of the Galveston Art Center's annual juried show of Texas glass! David Graeve won the first prize of $1,500; and second and third went to Jennifer Barnds and Leigh Taylor Wyatt, respectively. (For those of you who remember, Graeve made a splash in the early aughts with his blobby glass bricks that were backlit by video — I remember them showing at the long-gone Firestation 3 space in Houston, and they were also seleceted for an arty office park in Dallas.)
