Luminaria, San Antonio’s answer to Disneyland, Is this Saturday, March 14, with a preluminary kicks-off concert at Artpace on Friday the 13th, 7pm. for this second luminaria, bigger is better: 1,000 artists and 40 non-profit organizations representing dance, theater, poetry, painting, sculpture, film, and "multi-arts projects," seven performance stages, and fireworks finale. All day Saturday, and all Saturday night. Says Mayor Phil Hardberger:“This year’s event should be even better, with more artists, more visitors and an amazing display of vibrant art, music, dance, poetry and performance.” FREE!
