Times are tight for museums and the conference theme, “Breaking Down Barriers – Building Bridges,” makes it sound like they are angling for infrastructure stimulus money. Alberto Fierro, Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores, Dirección General de Asuntos Culturales de Mexico speaks today at 10:30 a.m. on “Mexico’s Commitment to International Cultural Exchange with the United States.” Meanwhile, Glasstire’s own Rainey Knudson is a presenter for the 1:45 p.m. session “Bridging the Generation Gap.”
