This afternoon, two fused-glass artworks will be installed at Houston’s Southeast Division Police Station at 8300 Mykawa Road. Beacon and Lumen, by Minneapolis-based art contractors IPS Art, the team of Minneapolis artists Amy Baur and Brian Boldon, features oak trees, compasses, and text in English and Spanish. There will be a photo opportunity today, Wednesday, April 8, from 1-2 pm.
