There will be an informal memorial service for Houston artist Dale Stewart at the Houston Art League at 6pm Saturday April 18, followed by a gathering at to the Menil park to lay flowers and notes at the tree he died beneath, then a reception at Poison Girl bar, one of Dale’s favorite hangouts. The Art League has offered their walls to hang photos of Dale, and/or any of his artwork. Thiose with stories about Dale are invited to share them during the service. There will also be a remembrance mass for Dale at the Chapel of St. Basil at the University of St. Thomas. (Dale worked at the UST library). The mass will be held at 12:30pm on Tuesday, April, 21st.
