Did you know that all those grey bungalows around the Menil house some of Houston’s innovative arts organizations? The Menil Arts Community Open House this Saturday tells all. Beginning at 3 p.m., visitors can attend free music performances, film screenings, art exhibitions, and programs of the spoken word in and around the Menil: Trees for Houston will distribute saplings to HCP visitors, a scavenger hunt with prizes, Aurora Picture Show will have videoke and a musical performance from DJ Lama, and a backyard film screening. Saturday, April 25 3-6 pm. FREE.
