Domy Books has teamed up with AK Press to bring comic book activist-artist Seth Tobocman to Domy Books, in Austin and Houston, for powerpoint presentations on his new book Disaster and Resistance: Comics and Landscapes for the 21st Century (accompanied by a cd and live narration). According to the presss release, "Fans of his classic works, You Don’t Have to Fuck People Over to Survive and War in the Neighborhood, will see that his punch has not softened and his work continues to skewer the individuals and institutions wreaking havoc across the globe today." At Domy Books, Austin on Saturday, April 25, and then at Domy Books, Houston, on Sunday, April 26. 6 pm: book signing, 8 pm: the presentation, both venues. FREE!
