Artist Kathryn Beale of Granger has won first prize in this year’s Red Bull Art of Can contest in Washington D.C. for Common Ground, a tin representation of an elephant and a donkey sharing an energy drink, which has its own facebook page! She wins a free trip to Art Basel and gets her work shown to the 90,000 visitors who daily pass through D.C.’s Union Station.
