This Friday, December 4, the Austin Visual Arts Association presents the Inaugural Austin Visual Arts Awards at the Austin Museum of Art, downtown, at 7 pm. Their "Fearing" awards, named for this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award Winner William Kelly Fearing, will be presented by notables in the Austin art scene in 2D, Photography/Printmaking, 3D/Mixed Media, New Media, Early Career, Service to the Arts and Arts Patron of the Year categories, as well as a Collectors Circle Award. “In Memorium” Lifetime Achievement awards will be presented to the families of two notable Austin artists. $25.
