Spacetaker’s managing director, Jenni Rebecca Stephenson will succeed founder David A Brown as the Houston arts org’s head. Brown will continue as founding director and serve on the organization’s new artist advisory board. Stephenson, a UH grad, was hired in 2008, when spacetaker moved to it’s new quarters at Winter Street Studios. Brown’s stepping down completes a three-year strategic plan initiated by his work with business of culture gurus National Arts Strategies.
