Ted Pillsbury, respected former director of the Kimbell art Museum was memorialized at a service on Thursday at Highland Park Presbyterian Church attended by a slew of artworld luminaries, family and friends. Pillsbury, who was Kimbell director from 1980-98 and who later was director of the Meadows Museum at SMU is credited with making the Kimbell into world-class museum.
