The fourth independent survey of contemporary Texas art, the 2011 Texas Biennial, has just opened its call for submissions. This time around, New York based art historian and attorney Virginia Rutledge will be the curator. The open call to all artists living and working in Texas lasts from May 15th-July 15th, 2010. The Biennial itself will be held, as before, in Austin.
