The Houston Arts Alliance is one of 100 participants in Americans for the Arts’ first Local Arts Index survey. Funded by the Kresge foundation (meaning: we don’t have to pay!), the 18-month survey aims to examine the vitality and character of the arts and culture in fine scale. Research for the Local Arts Index will be directed by Roland Kushner, PhD, through support from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.
