Surrealist sculptor Hobbes Vincent was selected as the next artist in residence (literally!) at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas. He’s an old favorite at the Fairmont: Vincent’s larger-than-life stag already sits in the lobby prompting countless inquiries from guests and visitors. Says Vincent, “I’ve always had my studio in my living space, so I’m looking forward to having a separate little sanctuary where I can focus in and get more done.” A reception to mark the beginning of his residency will be held on Tuesday, July 12 from 5-7pm.
