A trail of 23-foot Comanche Arrows is being installed by retired farmer-turned-metal-sculptor Charles A. Smith in the pannhandle. The arrows, stuck into the ground as if they fell from the sky, mark spots on the Quanah Parker Trail, commemorating the famous Comanche chief. Smith is donating the arrows, which cost $1200 each, to the Texas Historical Commission.
