Diem Jones will begin as the HAA’s new Director of Grants on February 13. A poet, musician, producer and spoken word artist (aka Drs. H.M. Joy & Fladimir MS Woo) art director, photographer, and teacher, the multi-talented man comes to Houston from an 8 year stint at Arts Council Silicon Valley, where he supervised their Artsopolis program and managed the agency’s grants, arts education and marketing.
