On Friday, November 11 at 6:30pm, University of Rochester professor of art history Douglas Crimp will be giving a talk at the University of Houston School of Art. Best known as an important critic in the development of postmodern art theory and queer theory, Crimp has written several books and for every art magazine imaginable. His lecture is entitled “Why Dance,” addressing why the art world has recently been embracing dance.
