There are MANY wonderful snow scenes in Japanese woodcuts.
I was surprised that the late great Bert Long’s ice sculpture and his infamous Houston CAM performance when he carved up the colored ice wall didn’t make the cut. I saw the piece or what was left of it in a freezer a few years ago but unfortunately after he died the people who were storing it cut the electricity to the box and the rest was history.
