Listen to part one here.
Brandon Zech talks with artist and public art specialist Tommy Gregory about the possibilities and pitfalls of making a public art project.
“I think that art can be pretty, but it also should be challenging. It should make people think and look at the world differently, and that’s always been my motivation.”

Thank you Brandon and Glasstire, go see some art! Wanted to mention there are two shows I’m involved with this week- April 13 with Texas artist Jimmy James Canales at Great Jones Gallery in Seattle and then a group show on the 14th at the Museum of Museum’s also in Seattle (including a group of Texas artists from George Zupp to Megan Harrison).
Look forward to seeing new Public art when I fly back through Tx.
